Howdy folks. It's summer time again and so it's time to have some fun. I have always wanted to make a Freedom mandolin to honor National Freedom day, June 19th, and this year I was able too. The New Mia F-7E Freedom mandolin has a solid carved spruce top, and solid carved maple back, sides and neck. The neck has an adjustable truss rod, bone nut, and rose wood fretboard. A Freedom mandolin needs to be be heard, so I fitted this baby with a built in Bridge transducer and an active system transducer, comes with a built in tuner. The tone is very sweet and woody with a good clear bass, and smooth highs. The finish is hand rubbed oil and shellac over some very careful hand staining. The mandolin in the picture is available now. I am going to make one more like this. These are made in Greenbrier, Arkansas. Give us a call 501-314-8967 to order one, or send us an email at clarindaharvey@gmail.com. This mandolin will ship with a shaped A-Style mandolin case.

A customer told me a few years ago about how cool it would be if I could build a 2-point mandolin. Will finally after 2 years of designing, sanding and building, the Mia G2 is here. The top is solid carved spruce, and the back, sides and neck are solid carved figured Maple. The neck has adjustable truss rod, bone and rose wood fretboard. The generous oval hole with scalloped X-tone bars lets this mandolin sing out above any choir. The tone is very woody with a good clear bass, and smooth highs. The action is low, and solid cast tailpiece really increases the resonance. The mandolin in the picture is available now. Made in the USA

The Mia F9 Celtic Rose is beautiful dream of a mandolin. The top is solid carved spruce, and the back, sides and neck are solid carved maple. The top is fitted with scalloped Spruce X-tone bars. To enhance the volume and sustain she is fitted with a traditional tailpiece. The sound of the F-9 Rose is big and beautiful. The highs are clear and smooth, without being edgy. The bass is full and rich and sounds like a male chorus. Below are examples of other acoustic F-style mandolins we make here at our shop in Greenbrier Arkansas. This is the New Mia A-7E A style mandolin being demoed by Keith Witty of Conway Arkansas. This is what the A-7 sounds like acoustically. Made of all solid carved spruce and maple with bone nut, & adjustable truss rode. It has dual position internal pickup.
Mr. Witty is playing The A-7E through my acoustic Dean Markley amp. So now you get to hear what this baby sounds like with all the power pushing through an amp.
