The Mia mandola is a robust full bodied instrument that is the mandolin's big brother. Tuned C-G-D-A, the fingering is very much like the mandolin. The Mia mandola has a 17 inch scale length, solid carved spruce top, solid carved figured maple back sides and neck with a rosewood fretboard, bone nut and adjustable truss rod. The top is fitted with scalloped X spruce tone bars. The finish is hand rubbed oil and shellac with coloring done in traditional American leather dyes. This FM-7E Mia Mandola is acoustic/electric with a deluxe detailed finish and coloring. The coloring is your choice and an active pickup system is available for this one as well. The transducer is inside the bridge and the pre-amp has treble, bass, and volume controls with built in tuner. You can go with F-holes or oval hole too.
